After researching many brands of ductless mini splits I decided on Daikin. They are a front runner in industry and edge out the Mitsubishi in performance. I installed the system myself and was pleased with the detailed instructions. You still need a certified HVAC installer to test the system for leaks and release the refrigerant. I was very happy to do business with eComfort as they were very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering the unit and line kit.

This is the 3rd unit we have ordered, and all have been shipped on time and in perfect shape. Each unit is made to order - it took almost 2 months for delivery. Unit is well made and quite quiet. Installation was straight forward although no instructions were included (I obtained them online to be sure wire connections were correct.) So far it is working perfectly.

Checked on higher efficiency rated boilers but could not justify the much higher price. Until you make up the increase in price with the savings in fuel the unit would be 8 - 10 years old.
